Penoscrotal Webbing
Penoscrotal webbing can occur as a result of circumcision,whereby the underside of the penis, where is attaches to the scrotum, is lifted up. As a result a web forms, and the scrotal tissue becomes attached to the underside of the penis.
Correction of penoscrotal webbing is a procedure performed as an outpatient under local anesthesia or IV sedation A double Z-plasty as described by Alter is performed.
